From production delays to cinema closures, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the film industry enormously as a number of blockbusters have already been forced to push back their release dates and Venom 2 is now one of the latest films to delay its release.
The good news is that an official teaser came out alongside the new title, Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Directed by Andy Serkis, Venom: Let Be Carnage sees Hardy resuming his role as Marvel’s hot-heated investigative journalist Eddie Brock, with Michelle Williams coming back again as Eddie’s ex-fiancée Anne Weying.
The follow-up to the first Venom was originally planned for October 2nd, 2020, but Sony Pictures has now announced that it will be released on June 25th, 2021.
