One person was shot dead and three people were injured during Nipsey Hussle’s memorial procession yesterday (11 April).
Thousands of fans took to the streets of Los Angeles in commemoration of the late rapper who was fatally shot earlier this month.
During the procession, shots were fired from a grey Hyundai as the four victims paid their respects to Nipsey Hussle.
The LAPD confirmed three men and women were hit by the bullets and said they are actively trying to search for the vehicle.
The chief of police Michael Moore took to Twitter to announce the devastating news, before calling for an end to gun violence.
“In the midst of this procession we have multi-4 shooting at 103 St and Main St. Victim are 3 Male Blacks and 1 Female Black – ages from 30-50 years old. Suspects in gray Hyundai fired on the victims”, he began.
“Tragically one is deceased. We must stop this senseless violence”.
Stars such as Jay Z, Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill and more attended the memorial service where Nipsey Hussle’s girlfriend Lauren London delivered a heartfelt speech.
