North London’s Wauve has marked his return with a fresh, new single dubbed “Wanna Know” featuring producer Gideonite and rapper Sevn Alias.
Like the song, the visuals for “Wanna Know” are sleek and show Wauve and Sevn Alias in a few scenic settings as they glide over Gideonite’s breezy beat.
“I teamed up with Gideonite on the production and rapper Sevn because I was looking for a sound that could resonate with a wider range of listeners, Wauve said of the collab. “You have a bit of that Dutch influence from the guys, those Afrobeat instrumentals, along with my London accent – it just all works perfectly!”.
“Wanna Know” marks Wauve’s first release of the year following a strong 2021 where he dropped a string of singles, as well as his debut project Street Serenade. Now that he’s back, he’ll look to build on the success he had last year.
