We Are FSTVL 2019: What To Expect From This Year’s Event

Starting on the 24th and culminating on the 26th of May, We Are Festival are bringing a hot line-up of sick artists to the Upminster area in what is due to be a banging weekend of live music.


There is going to be quite an array of talent on show, with something for everyone on each of the days, however we will attempt to highlight some of the biggest names and most exciting acts you should go and see.


For grime, rap, and Hip-Hop vibes, you can see Bugzy Malone, Big Shaq, Preditah, Lisa Mafia and Mike Skinner. If you’re into the bassier side of things you can catch the legendary duo of Chase and Status, Bristol’s Notion, Holy Goof, veteran jump up crew SASAS, another drum and bass legend in Andy C, Crucast (Skepsis, Darkzy, Bru-C, LazCru, Mr.Virgo, TS7 & Window Kid) and a final legendary DJ duo of Hype and Hazard.


If you’re going to be in more of a dancing mood there are plenty of wavey house acts for you to check out, which include the legendary Armand Van Helden, MK, Solardo, Artwork, The Black Madonna, Denis Sulta, Honey Dijon, Mall Grab, Skream, and the legendary DJ EZ’s alter ego Elvin Zedo. There are also loads of DJs on the techno side of the spectrum in the likes of Ben Klock, Dixon, Nina Kraviz , The Martinez Brothers and Jamie Jones just to name a few.


Finally there will be plenty of garage vibes to go about with acts like Craig David, Matt Jam Lamont, Smokin Bubbly B, Sweet Female Attitude, Artful Dodger, Double 99, Kele Le Roc, DJ Luck and MC Neat, Majestic, Oxide and Neutrino, Shola Ama and Wookie.
