After his sudden disappearance earlier this year, we might finally have heard some news from Stormzy’s camp – indirectly of course.
The first inkling we’ve had from the man of mystery came from a tweet from blogger Gracie Francesca who also presents documentaries for BBC3; Is it time for Stormz’ documentary debut?
The picture is of a handful of female TV presenters, singers, and general music-based creatives including Maya Jama, Little Simz, Ray BLK, Julie Adenuga, photographer Vicky Grout, Jorja Smith and PR & Eskimo Dance queen Lilz. Actress Michaela Coel (Top Boy, Chewing Gum & Black Mirror) makes an appearance, and we’ve also heard that new Polydor signing Raye was there too.
Ray Blk also tweeted a hard picture of her next to a matte black car with a Merky numberplate, looking like it’s from the same set as the picture of all the girls.
Judging on the status of the women featured, something big is coming. Whether a huge music video or even better, a documentary, 2017 is set to be an even bigger year for Stormzy, and he’s taking others along with him.
