Unmatched vibes filled the air during the inaugural Clints Festival held in Manchester, home of the beloved sneaker and streetwear brand, Clints. Saturday 6th September saw the debut of this homegrown fest, which championed local stars, rising talent and UK legends, perfectly fitting the energy of Clints as a brand: raw, authentic and iconic all at once. It was a day to remember, from lift-off to landing.
In alignment with the aviation theme, festival-goers took over Barton Aerodrome, sporting a vast array of Clints attire, and wearing their jerseys, tracksuits, skullies and sneakers with pride. From the energy, to the outfits, to the performances, the festival felt like being on cloud nine.
With three flight-themed stages, the vibes were varied and beautifully curated. The line-up was filled with swathes of local and national talent, headed up by K-Trap, Chip and Mike Skinner. Each artist, DJ and MC that hit the stage was dripped out from head to toe in Clints’ finest; the whole place was stepping correct.
And just like that, Junior Clint, founder and entrepreneur, has once again proven that he’s a true pioneer – not only in the realms of fashion, but in culture, community and creativity at large. Built from the ground up, Clints has now taken to the skies.
Happy 5th Birthday to Clints; and to Clints Festival – welcome to the world.
