WhatsApp has finally introduced its long-awaited ‘dark mode’ feature.
Yesterday (March 2), WhatsApp announced it will begin rolling out the feature in its latest updates for iOS 13 and Android 10 users in the “coming days”.

It’s been reported Apple users will be able to switch to dark mode in their general settings, while Android users will only be able to switch the feature on on WhatsApp specifically.
The feature comes after WhatsApp finally recognised dark mode had been one of the most requested additions by its users.
Dark mode is “designed to reduce eye strain”, allowing users to prevent bright screen displays in dark settings.
