An anti-terror operation in Willesden, North-West London has led to a Woman being shot by Police.
The woman, believed to be in her 20’s has not been arrested, but is under police guard in hospital. The woman’s house on Harlesden Road in Willesden had been under observation, Police have revealed. A 16-year old boy and a 20-year old man were also arrested in the raid after CS gas was sprayed and the woman was shot.
Two other people, both 28, were arrested after returning to the raided property. The family at the property were believed to have been Somalian and were arrested on the suspicion of commission, instigation and preparation of terrorist acts.
This is the first time the Police have shot a woman in 10 years, when Anna Sanderson was shot dead in Kent in what jurors decided was a lawful killing.
