A doctor has sued a dating agency after reportedly being matched with a man who was shorter than 6 feet tall.

The claimant, Doctor Eileen Moore, is asking for an apology letter and a refund of her £3629 joining fee and the case has gone to the Victorian and Administrative Tribune.

On her case against the agency, Elite Introductions, Eileen Moore said, “I was not expecting them to find me love, I was expecting them to find me a man who met the criteria I wanted.

“I was at a stage where I was ready to settle down, get married and start a family.

“I was a career woman, I was 36. I was ready to embark on the next chapter of my life.”

Eileen says she was “gobsmacked” when she was not matched with a man of her strict criteria which was a suitor of Australian/Irish descent, followed the Roman Catholic and was taller than six feet.

She was matched with a man called David and was told that they were around the same height.

David was not the same height as Dr Eileen though was he was shorter than her 6 feet tall requirement.

The claimant told the court that she felt pressured to meet up with David for a date but the meeting didn’t sway her opinion and along with the apology letter and the refund Eileen is suing for legal costs, misleading conduct, bullying and breach of verbal contract.
