Forbes have announced their 2023 edition of their worldwide billionaire’s list.
Elon Musk claimed the number one spot last year, but he has now been pipped to the post of the world’s richest person.
Bernard Arnault takes the title, who is the French luxury tycoon behind fashion company LVMH, which owns brands like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and more.
The 74-year-old has been in control of LVMH for nearly 30 years and his fortune is estimated to be worth $211 billion.
Musk, who is now sitting in second place, is outpaced by $31 billion, with a net worth of an estimated $180 million.
Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, comes it at number three with $114 billion and Oracle – a tech company – owner Larry Ellison is fourth with $107 billion.
Rounding out the top five of the worlds richest people is insurance mogul Warren Buffett.
