With Notting Hill Carnival going online this year, popular rum brand Wray & Nephew and No Signal radio will present a ‘Yard To Yard’ live stream to celebrate Caribbean culture featuring a few big names!

Due to broadcast tomorrow (August 28) from 8pm via No Signal’s YouTube channel, Yard To Yard will bring the carnival vibes straight to your home with a late-night live stream featuring sets from No Signal DJs and a steelpan NS10v10 clash.

The stream will also contain a series of short films focusing on carnival, as well as performances from artists such as Popcaan, Mist and Lady Ice.

Part of the one-off, high energy special is being hosted at Camden Town Hall – a site where many believe the carnival spirit was formed. It was here in 1959 that Caribbean political activist, Claudia Jones, started the movement with a dance at the venue in response to the race protests and these inspirational dances are believed to have paved the way for what we now know as Carnival Weekend.

To get fully involved in the experience, you can also get your hands on a limited edition Wray & Nephew + No Signal Carnival Pack here, with all profits going to support the NS Academy & Studio Fund and their efforts to secure a permanent home for No Signal.

It’s bound to be a big virtual event so make sure you’re locked in on No Signal’s YouTube channel tomorrow from 8pm!
