Just days after announcing the project, Wretch 32 has dropped his surprise new tape little BIG Man.

On this project, Wretch takes his elite artistry to new heights as he puts himself in the shoes of a teenager in an attempt to understand the issues affecting young people in 2021; distancing himself from his elder perspective to take a more empathetic approach towards the youth of today.

During the thirty-minute project, the multi-talented artist explores themes such as violence, poverty and incarceration to detail some of the gritty happenings on the streets of inner cities. Assisting Wretch in telling this important narrative are fellow artists M Huncho, Blade Brown, Nafe Smallz, K-Trap, SL, Tiggs Da Author and KayyKayy.

On the closing track, Wretch concludes: “Little man, your life is worth so much more than you’re giving yourself credit for and us adults, every time we point the finger, we’re missing the point. It takes a village to raise a child. Be conscious of what part you play in that village.”

Speaking on the project, Wrecth said. “I was trying to put myself in a 17-year-old’s body and trying to see how they feel. How does it feel to come out of prison at that age? What struggles do I face? As a senior, I’m seeing a pattern and a cycle and this was about me trying to understand their experiences.”
