Two years after he released his last album FR32, Wretch 32 has gifted fans with his latest masterpiece, Upon Reflection.
As always, the Tottenham rapper has brought together a thoughtful body of work that sees him tackle some of society’s issues with his refreshing lyrics. As a musician that’s known for his thought-provoking words and soul-searching vibes, this album is no exception.
Boasting features from the likes of Giggs, Talay Riley and Burna Boy, it’s safe to say that the two-year wait was most definitely worth it.
In an interview with Apple Music, Wretch said: “Music is the soundtrack to what mood I’m in, and I’m in a reflective time of my life” which explains the name of his latest offering. He went on to reveal that he feels like his “voice just happens to be louder than the average person’s so it’s only right that I use it in the right way.”
Be sure to check out all twelve tracks as you experience insight into the struggles and hurdles of the acclaimed rapper. Once you’re done, check out why Wretch32 is one of the last of a dying breed here.
