Word Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has terminated wrestler Hulk Hogan’s contract due to tapes emerging where he uses racist insults. The National ENQUIRER and RadorOnline.com discovered in their joint investigation what exactly happened. During a pillow talk on an unauthorised sex tape, there is a conversation where Hogan uses racist insults including the N-word. The conversation was based on his daughter, and his hatred for her, who he accused of sleeping with a black man.
He was expressing his feelings on the matter with Heather Clem, who is the wife of his former friend Bubba, and whom he sued for their sex tape, shot in 2012, being leaked on a website. The conversation is shown below:
“I guess we’re all a little racist,” sources have exclusively shared with Radar and The National ENQUIRER. “She is making some real bad decisions now. My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her.”
“The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is to sell beach records.” Then he went on to say how a “black billionaire guy” offered to finance Brooke’s career. He tried to justify his bigotry towards the man. “I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son,” Hulk went on to say. “I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”
“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!. I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n*gger.”
Hulk Hogan has been apart of WWE since 1977, and is known as one of their biggest stars. Hogan has apologised for his behaviour as he said: “Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it,” Hogan said in a statement exclusively to PEOPLE.
Hulk Hogan no longer exists on WWE’s website, as they have deleted any pictures or videos they had of him to show how strongly they do not tolerate in this behaviour, as they believe in embracing individuals from all backgrounds demonstrated by the diversity of their employees. Even though WWE have said they have fired him, Hulk Hogan’s lawyer David Houston says otherwise: “He decided to resign from WWE because he didn’t want to put them or his family through this,” Houston told PEOPLE.
