New close-up photos have been released of Kanye West’s new sock-like Yeezys.
The rapper, producer and designer went viral after photographs surfaced of him wearing the flat thin-soled boot like shoe with no laces in a slate grey colourway. Kanye sported the new shoe over Coachella weekend just before his infamous Sunday Service performances.
Currently named Coachella Scuba, the yet to be released shoe shows exposed stitching in the new images and the shoes embody a distressed design. The images reveal that the shoe is still in the prototype stage but with over 20 new Yeezy releases promised for this year, the Coachella Scuba is likely to be in stores soon.
Check out the first look at the shoe below.
Earlier this year, Kasper Rorsted, the CEO of Adidas said, This year we will have more than twenty releases. Some will be very scarce and very low on volume while others will have a different volume profile. Over time if you have a product in the market for a very long time like the 350, that scarcity will be by default less so… the 350 silhouette is what we’re really rolling out in volume”.
Since then and as reported by GRM, Adidas have unveiled several new drops including all black Yeezy Boost 350 V2’s, Yeezy Boost 700 V2’s and of course the new Yeezy Boost 350 v2’s which glow in the dark. Read more about these here and stay tuned to GRM Daily as we keep you updated on new Yeezy releases.
