Yizzy has provided us with his brand-new EP entitled Prince Of Grime.
Clocking in at 16 minutes, Yizzy’s latest EP is a brief one which he uses to demonstrate why he should be regarded as the leader of the next generation in grime. While we do hear the rapper go it alone on “Offside” and the previously released “Thierry Henry”, he does enlist the likes of Jme, Devlin, Skengo, Koder, Lucidd and Gemin1 on the EP.
As well as sharing the project, Yizzy also released his Prince of Grime documentary which looks at the Lewisham’s journey thus far.
“This EP is all about making my stamp as the Prince Of Grime, the person who will carry the genre forward and pioneer the next generation of the sound,” said of the EP in a press release.
“I executively produced every track on this EP and went even more in detail with the songs for the first project release via my new label RTL. This is the most well rounded body of work you’ve heard from me so far & a real testament to Grime & 140bpm.”
Check out the EP below after you’ve watched the documentary in the video above.
