Young T & Bugsey have just dropped a memory-filled lyric video for their latest single “Blessings” featuring Chronixx.
The video contains old photographs of Young T and Bugsey from their childhood as well as photographs of their families, offering an inside perspective of their backgrounds and come up.
The track is infused with elements of their heritage, Nigerian and Jamaican, starting with the beat and finishing with the bars. However, Chronixx on the hook gives off strong Hugh Mundell vibes, taking the whole sound in a predominantly Caribbean zone.
The tune is wavy yet laid back, a mix of upbeat energy and deep lyrics; making it a bittersweet audio dessert good for any occasion.
“Blessings” is the fourth track to be released from Truth Be Told – the highly-anticipated tape from Young T & Bugsey dropping on January 21st. So far the duo have released three other singles; “Big Bidness”, “Prada Bae” with Nafe Smallz and “Roberto C” featuring Unknown T which dropped just last month.
Judging on the levels of their sound and the calibre of the features on the project, Young T & Bugsey are not going to disappoint!
Make sure you take in “Blessings” above.
