A leaked Pop Smoke track which emerged over the weekend is now at the centre of a new rap beef between Young Thug and Pusha T.
Titled “Paranoia”, the unreleased song features Young Thug, Pusha T and Gunna but also includes a shot at Drake from Pusha himself.
On the leaked track, Pusha can be heard rapping: “You know reality bites / It’s chess not checkers / Those empty threats only sound good on your records.
“If the patois is not followed by blocka / It’s like marked for death Screwface without the choppa / Let ’em rush the stage when you made like Sinatra / Only to hide the blade, flyin’ back through LaGuardia / I might even buy a home out in Mississauga.”
However, after hearing the track, Thugger took to social media to say he doesn’t “respect the Pusha T verse”, adding that he would have had made changes if he knew the lyrics were about Drake.
Pusha T was quick to respond to Young Thug, saying he doesn’t need his respect while also demanding he is removed from the deluxe version of Pop Smoke’s album.
Now, Young Thug has responded by calling Pusha T a “sucker” for calling out Drake again, and for using the big collaboration to gain attention.
The Pusha T and Drake beef is one with a long history and now the exchange between Pusha and Young Thug has added another layer to the feud.
