As an eventful domestic season draws to a close, the nation’s attentions slowly draw towards the upcoming Euro 2016 Championships in France. In a campaign where Leicester have defied the odds to secure the unthinkable, and Chelsea have endured a capitulation of epic proportions, the focus pans towards Roy Hodgson’s men.

When the first ball was kicked back in August, very few would have envisaged a fruitful Euro 2016 for the English. However, throughout the season, we have seen the likes of Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Jamie Vardy fly to prominence, installing huge optimism. Possessing one of the most exciting and talented squads for a long time, debate has raged throughout the country regarding picks and much more.

With the squad announcement drawing close, we thought it would only be right to get some of the scene’s biggest artists to pick their 23-man squad. In this edition, we chat to Yungen, Wretch 32 and Mr Bigz to see who they think should make it on to the plane. The trio are known to be avid football fans, and have varied with their picks – enjoy.

MR BIGZ

I think England can do well this summer, to be honest. I can see a semi-final guaranteed and potentially a final at Euro 2016, we’re an exciting, young side. France have the best squad depth, there’s quality in every position, so I’d say they’re favourites.

England prediction: Semi-Final/Final

WRETCH 32

We’ve got a good squad, but england being England, we’ll go out in the quarter-finals, I reckon. There’s a lot of good sides, but after their World Cup win, I feel Germany are favourites for the tournament.

England predicition: Quarter Final

Winner prediction: Germany

YUNGEN

I reckon we can win it, but we’ve got to let the youth do their thing. People like Dele Alli, Raheem Sterling and Eric Dier, they should be our main guys. If I had to put money on a winner, I’d have to give it to Germany.

England prediction: Semi-Final

Winner prediction: Germany
