Just before its release later this week, a new trailer has been unveiled for one of the most hotly anticipated superhero flicks of 2021, Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
The new trailer features tons of new footage starring Heny Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Wonder Woman as played by Gal Gadot, as they team up to defeat the nefarious villain Darkseid.
Ray Fisher is also due to return as Cyborg, as will Flash and Aquaman, as portrayed by Ezra Miller and Jason Mamoa respectively.
The whopping four hour film is set to be released on HBO Max on Thursday and comes after years of fan-campaigning for the directors cut of Justice League to be released, after the 2017 theatrical version failed to impress.
The original Justice League was embroiled in behind-the-scenes turmoil, after original director Zack Snyder left the project due to studio interference, alongside the tragic and untimely death of his daughter.
Problems persisted, with star Ray Fisher himself accusing Joss Whedon – who replaced Snyder behind the cameras – and the executives at Warner Bros of abusive behaviour.
Will the new release set the DC Universe back on course?
