The fifth and final episode of Jägermeister’s insightful new series has arrived.
Titled The Meister Series, this project from Jägermeister celebrates the icons and innovators in the music and events industry and in this finale they draft in someone who’s definitely a key player in the scene – the talented producer Zdot.
Having working with the likes of Stormzy, Bugzy Malone, Ghetts and more, Zdot has definitely established a name for himself over the years and this documentary explores his journey so far; with the producer discussing getting into music, some of the challenges he’s faced and his creative process. We also hear from Zdot’s frequent collaborators, Krunchie and Eyez, who also provide us with insight into the beatmaker’s technique.
This isn’t the first time Jägermeister have teamed up with Zdot as the brand and producer have worked closely together for some years; teaming up for the #SAVETHENIGHT initiative as well as for performances where Zdot has shut down Jäger stages countless times.
Speaking on the series, Zdot said: “I’ve always believed music producers in the UK don’t get enough credit so when Jägermeister asked to document my journey in the industry so far and make it an episode for The Meister Series, I jumped at the chance.
“Working with Jägermeister is always great vibes. They allow me to be as creative as possible and are always coming up with groundbreaking ideas.”
As a way to support the industry even further, Jägermeister created the #SAVETHENIGHT initiative to support both sides of the nightlife community: artists, creatives and bartenders whose livelihoods have been impacted by the crisis, as well as those who would normally be in clubs and bars every week. The initiative consists of a mix of donations, micro-fundings, creative online entertainments such as ‘Meister Drop-Ins’ or ‘Meister Classes’ and support of partner activities.
