It wouldn’t be Valentine’s without a release from Asics, and this year the brand has treated us to three presents for the most romantic day of the year, all variations of the classic Gel Lyte III silhouette.
The first is named and inspired by “Strawberries and Cream”, a sultry Valentine’s favourite dessert. The shoe’s nubuck suede upper holds a colourway of varying pinks and reds, and sits on a berry-coloured and white fused midsole. The shoe is accented with a white heel tab, and white-to-pink gradient on the Asics branding.
The second and third shoes are a pack in themselves, and would make perfect his-and-hers shoes. Both editions hold vivid suede uppers with crinkled leather heel tabs, and hold Asics branding on the back heel, ankle and midsole, sitting atop a colour blocked heel.
