At a Drake and Future concert last year, a woman was raped and now she is suing the rappers as well as others involved for $25 million, on the ground that mismanagement of the event is what led to her being attacked at the show.
At the concert in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, the woman was approached by a man who was allegedly associated with the venue, who invited her backstage to meet the performers.
The man, who was later identified as Leavy Johnson, suddenly “pushed her to the ground and violently assaulted her, shattering her cell phone and causing severe physical and psychological injury.”
Johnson has been arrested and charged with rape and is currently awaiting trial. The victim claims that Johnson already had outstanding arrest warrants for assault, so if the touring company and the security company who employed him had known this, they should never have employed him in the first place as it’s clear he posed a threat
