Fila has dropped a new collection honouring the late Notorious B.I.G’s legendary debut album Ready to Die which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary back in September.
This new partnership has been created with the help of the Christopher Wallace Estate and consists of a six-piece collection which includes t-shirts and visors along with an updated version of the classic Fila Tennis 88 silhouette. The shoe comes in beige suede and white leather colourways.
Fila also announced that they will donate an additional pair of children’s trainers for each shoe sold on Fila’s website to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation.
Biggie himself was known to wear gear from the athletic brand, and in 1993, Biggie took to the stage at a show in Philadelphia wearing a Fila T-shirt and matching visor which has been reworked and reissued as part of the new partnership.
