A few months ago, we speculated that the PlayStation 5 may be arriving pretty soon and it looks like that may be the case thanks to information which has leaked online.
An alleged third-party developer of an AAA title (a bestselling game) – who is said to be working on a project which will be released in 2020 as the PS5’s launch game – has published information regarding the console on Paste Bin.
According to the leaker, Sony are expected to release official information on the PS5 in the second quarter of 2019, while the console won’t be released until March 2020 or November 2020.
“PS5 official info from Sony somewhere around next E3 (Sony will not be participating on E3), I’d say Q2 2019 small reveal”, the leaker wrote.
“PS5 release March 2020 or November 2020, not yet finalized”.
The leaked information also reveals that the PlayStation 5 will cost around $499 (£380).
While the details may not be official, they are definitely keeping anticipation high for the console.
