In a follow-up to the main single release of “THat Part” featuring Kanye West, Schoolboy Q has enlisted TDE label-mates Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul for the high-profile Black Hippy remix.
Previously teased by Q on Snapchat, the song boasts dope verses from all of the rappers and was released as a surprise gift to fans minutes before the release of ScHoolboy Q’s highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Blank Face LP’. Jay Rock takes the first, Kendrick the second and Ab-Soul the third, with Q taking on the final verse. The “Collard Greens” artist delivers an aggressive message relating to recent events in the US concerning the killing of Alton Sterling, most notably screaming “#BlackLivesMatter should’ve died with him”
To top it all off, the new ScHoolboy Q album is available to stream below now and has a great cast of features, including XXL Freshman Anderson .Paak, Vince Staples, Jadakiss, E-40 and Miguel (although unfortunately his Black Hippy bredrins don’t appear).
