Comprised of Skits, Jords, Skribz, Confect and Poet, London based alternative hip-hop collective Vibbar have been made a big splash in the pool that is the contemporary British music scene.
Unlike some of the typical Vibbar tracks, “Deadweight”, featuring members Skribz and Skits is a much harder hitting and rap focused tune, with the previously mentioned members displaying a sick flow on a level perhaps not reached on their previous releases which tend to be a more chilled out vibe.
Matching the grittiness of the audio, the vid for “Deadweight” sees the members of Vibbar take to one of London’s many infamous high rise estate blocks for some sick visuals directed by members of the group themselves.
Produced and Mixed by Confect, “Deadweight” is surely another hit to add to Vibbar’s ever growing collection, including “Stockholm” and “Like Dat” featuring grime legend Jme, both of which you can check out here on GRM Daily.
