Dave & Little Simz Among 2021 BET Hip-Hop Award Nominees

The nominees for the 2021 BET Hip-Hop Awards have been revealed and two of the UK’s finest lyricists have been recognised – Dave and Little Simz.

The two Londoners have received a nod in the category for Best International Flow where they’re up against the likes of Ladipoe (Nigeria), Xamã (Brazil), Laylow (France) and Gazo (France).

Across the board for the awards, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Durk and Cardi B lead the nominations with nine nods each, with Drake in second place with eight nominations.

Also nominated are 21 Savage, DJ Khaled, J. Cole and Pooh Shiesty, Bia, Doja Cat and more.

The winners will be replaced when the ceremony for the 2021 BET Hip-Hop Awards will take place on October 1 in Atlanta, which will premiere on BET in the U.S. on October 5.
