The hugely-anticipated 2022 BRIT Awards took place tonight and some of the biggest names in music scooped up some huge prizes!
The ceremony for the BRIT Awards – which celebrates the best in British music over the past year – took place tonight (February 8) at the O2 Arena and was hosted by comedian and presenter, Mo Gilligan.
Among the winners was north London’s very own Little Simz who picked up the award for Best New Artist.
Simz wasn’t the only rap star to be awarded for their efforts as Dave came out on top in the category for Best Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap. Also picking up awards was Ed Sheeran, Adele, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish and more.
As well as unveiling the winner of each category, the ceremony saw performances from stars such as Little Simz, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Dave – who teamed up with Meekz, Fredo, Ghetts and Giggs to deliver an epic performance of “In The Fire”.
