East London star Unknown T has unleashed his highly-anticipated second mixtape, Adolescence.
Serving as the follow-up to his 2020 debut Rise Above Hate, this project from Unknown T is a solid 15-tracker dominated by the rapper’s hard-hitting drill sound.
Its title is a symbol of growth change and Unknown T exhibits his development as an artist on various tracks throughout the project, most notably on “Driller Sh!t” where we hear him unleashing a new flow. Another solo standout on the tape is “Sweet Lies” where Unknown T hits us with a softer approach and melodies.
Rise Above Hate contained some pretty big features and Adolescence is just the same as we hear Unknown T connect with the likes of Digga D, Potter Payper, M1llionz and Nafe Smallz, as well as M Huncho on the already released “Wonderland”.
“Onto the next stage of my life,” Unknown T wrote on Instagram when announcing Adolescence. “Rise Above Hate was about my past trauma that we all felt through my absence, but I managed to overcome all the negativity & used that energy to better myself.
“This body of work is my deepest so far, represents growth within my music and me as a person.”
