HBO have shared a teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated second season of Euphoria.
Season 2 will debut on January 9th – taking the show’s unparalleled standards even further into the new year.
Back in 2019, the premier of Euphoria’s first season set the waves of its impact in motion. Written by Sam Levison, each episode contributes to the HBO series’ critical acclaim and global popularity.
The on screen masterpiece compiling the first season follows Rue Bennet – a drug addict attempting to find her feet and make sense of the world after leaving rehab. Rue – played by the Emmy award-winning Zendaya – finds guidance in Jules, played by Hunter Schafer. The series delves into the lives of Rue, Jules and their teenage classmates to empathetically explore the highs and lows that each of them face.
In narration of the new Tease Trailer, Rue comments “when you’re younger, everything feels so permanent. But as you get older, you begin to realise nothing is and everyone you love can drift away”.
The second season of Euphoria is certainly ready to build on those previous, sincere depictions of reality – embodied and executed flawlessly by its characters.
