Last week (December 9), JD kicked off the Christmas season with an exclusive livestream gig with appearances from a number of big names!
To celebrate the traditional British high street, JD launched its ‘King Of The Streets’ campaign back in November and Thursday’s event brought the concept to life.
Setting things off on the exclusive TikTok livestream was rising Brighton star ArrDee who opened the night with a performance of the huge banger “Body” which is undoubtedly one of the biggest singles of the year.
Also in attendance was Nottingham’s Young T and Bugsey and south London’s Shaybo who performed a selection of their biggest hits.

Closing the night was west London star Central Cee who delivered renditions of his big tracks “Commitment Issues”, “Loading” and “Day In The Life”.
As well as including featuring performances from some of the UK’s finest talent, the livestream also included appearances from comedian Michael Dapaah, presenter and funnyman Stevo The Madman and Love Islanders Joanna Chimonides and Chloe Burrows – JD‘s first female ambassador.
They were all given the chance to immerse themselves in the ‘King Of The Streets’ advert in real life, taking part in experiences such as the Maya Jama and Michael Dapaah-fronted ‘King Of Trims’ salon.
Speaking on the event, Chloe Burrows said: “Being part of the JD family has been a dream, I’ve got to do some amazing things over the last few months and this gig is the perfect way to round off what has been an epic year! Arrdee and Central Cee are probably the biggest rappers to come out of 2021, so seeing them in such an intimate setting is a huge Christmas treat!”
