Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather is set to return to the ring to go head to head with YouTuber Deji, according to reports.
The Mirror has revealed Mayweather and Deji are currently in talks for a “big-money” exhibition bout in Dubai this November.
According to sources, the terms of the fight have not yet been finalised but Deji took to Twitter last night (September 13) to reveal he has a “fight announcement soon”.
Since giving up professional boxing in 2017, Mayweather has been on a retirement tour that has seen him fight in a number of exhibition matches.
If he does fight Deji, it won’t be the first time he’s been up against a YouTube as he faced Logan Paul last year.
After losing his first three boxing matches, Deji finally secured his first win last month against Yusef ‘Fousey’ Erakat on his brother KSI’s undercard.
The fight is yet to be announced but given the popularity of both Mayweather and Deji, we can expect the bout to pull in many spectators if it does happen.
