Knucks really means No Days Off, huh?
The south Kilburn rapper has blessed us with the first chapter of his Knuckles docu-film. The flick stands as the visual cog to his debut LP Alpha Place‘s ever-present machine.
Throughout, we catch project soundbites, a fly-on-the-wall look at his studio sessions, as well as a re-imagining of Knucks’ childhood; showing the emcee in his youth discovering Nas’ music. Knuckles – directed by Lauren Luxenberg and Alfie Barker – gets experimental with visual style, as Knuckles meanders between film, digital and low-angle shots.
Knuckles follows the deluxe re-issue of Alpha Place earlier this month which included two brand new tracks added to the LP.
