In a move that’s causing some to scratch their heads, Subway has announced a limited edition sandwich that features a Cadbury Creme Egg filling.
The new sandwich, called the Creme Egg Melt, will be available exclusively on Good Friday for free and only in select locations.
The sandwich is made with Italian white bread and filled with a number of sweet and gooey Cadbury Creme Eggs.
Subway has said that the sandwich will only be available in four locations across the UK: London, Liverpool, Swansea, and Glasgow.
Each location will only have 500 sandwiches available, so fans of the iconic chocolate egg should plan accordingly if they want to snag one.
The Creme Egg Melt has already generated a fair amount of buzz on social media, with some people excited to try the unique sandwich while others are decidedly less enthusiastic.
It remains to be seen whether the sandwich will be a hit with customers or not, but one thing is for sure: those who are lucky enough to get their hands on one will be in for something uniqe.
