The MET office have issued severe weather warnings today after several tornadoes and wind reaching 94mph hit Wales earlier today.
Huge gusts of wind battered the coastline of Wales, causing mayhem as cars, caravans and trees were overturned. A MET spokesperson said, “Swathes of wind associated with a squally band of rain” crossing Wales at the time, but it had since cleared Wales and was moving over England, where there are weather warnings in place.”

Described by a resident in Shropshire as “the most intense weather ever”, the emergency services in the Midlands are set to stay alert until 5pm, when the winds will hopefully subside.
Stay safe out there guys!
