Hasbulla Magomedov, a popular TikTok star and UFC associated star was reportedly arrested on Sunday along with his friends for driving offences in Dagestan, Russia.
According to local reports, the 20-year-old was taken into custody over administrative violations after he and his friends interfered with other drivers while celebrating a friend’s wedding.
A video released by Dagestan’s Internal Affairs Ministry shows a group of vehicles, including one carrying Hasbulla, blocking traffic and doing doughnuts on a main road. One of the cars is later seen with a large scratch along the side.
The group was subsequently detained by the police, leading to the hashtag #FreeBulla trending on social media, as fans called for his release.
The TikTok sensation’s official Twitter account shared the hashtag, while his Instagram account posted an apology for the incident, saying, “We decided to hype a little bit. That won’t happen again, people we apologise. We had to answer for it a little bit. I wasn’t driving either.”
There is no word yet on the exact charges he is facing or when he will be released.
Hasbulla rose to fame on TikTok with his unique appearance and distinctive voice. He has amassed a huge following on social media, with over 3.8 million followers on Instagram alone. He has also made appearances in several UFC events and has been praised for his fighting skills.
