Hailing from Nottingham, HEX has premiered his latest tune “Mugshot (Rockstar)” via World Star Hip-Hop.
Likened to Post Malone, HEX, who’s style blurs the lines between rap, R&b and rock, has seen himself carve his own unique lane sonically. On this new track, he asserts he is a rockstar whilst subtly flexing his attraction to the ladies. Simultaneously, he narrates a robbery, which is aided by the visuals (“If I get caught, I’ll be smiling on a mugshot”). The video takes inspiration from 20th century aesthetic as he carries out an armed robbery.
