The Streets have returned with a brand new album The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light.
The legendary Mike Skinner has taken his creativity to new heights with his latest project The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light. The body of work not only exists in audio format, but it doubles as Mike Skinner’s directorial debut. The album is actually the soundtrack to his first feature film, which he’s recently taken to Everyman cinemas across the capital.
Impressively the film was entirely directed, written, shot, funded and edited by Mike Skinner himself. Although the album is of course designed to be a score for the film, both can be enjoyed as two separate pieces of art. The Streets are due to take the album on the road kicking off at the end of this month, with support from Hak Baker, Joy Anonymous and Master Peace.
Make sure you catch them at one of their live shows, and take in the album in full below right now!
