Early 2000s pink clad rapper, Cam’Ron, famed for tracks like “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma” has revealed that he wants his next business venture to be… toilet paper.
It’s actually something Cam’s been talking about for a while and he even mentions it in an interview with American radio show Shade 45’s VIP Saturdays in last June. In the interview, the Harlem rapper said maybe the most lucid and convincing statement ever, “It’s an option if you wanna drive a car. It’s an option if you wanna use a straw. It’s an option if you wanna wear a pair of Nikes or Reeboks. You gotta wipe your a**, man.”
Now in a new interview with XXL, Cam’Ron is letting us know he’s still on the idea. Though the interview is primarily about his new collection with Reebok, hen asked about upcoming business ventures, Cam brings up the TP idea once more. “Everybody uses toilet paper; men, women, children. Well, if they’re babies then they use diapers, and if you broke you use newspapers, but toilet paper is a guaranteed 95 percent necessity around the world.”
Cam has even looked into buying a toilet paper making machine, which costs about $12,000 and has revealed that his toilet paper will be white instead of his trademark pink as the dye on the paper “f-cks people up”.
This isn’t Cam’Ron’s first non-music money making scheme, back in 2014 the rapper released a line of Ebola preventing masks emblazoned with his face. Savvy.
