A 14-year-old has been arrested after a teacher was stabbed in Forest Gate according to reports.
The reported incident took place near Forest Gate Community school and a man in his 40s was found injured in a nearby retail location. According to The Mirror, the man was a teacher.
According to The Standard, the Met Police said in a statement, “Detectives are investigating following a stabbing in Newham. Police were called at about 5.25pm on Tuesday, January 30 to reports of a man stabbed in Woodgrange Road, E7. Officers attended and found the victim, who is aged in his 40s, inside a shop nearby. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. His injury was not life-threatening. A 14-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident. He was taken into custody where he remains.”
