The mixtape maps the emotional push and pull of ascent — the thrill of progress set against solitude, pressure, fractured trust and the demands of self-development. Its title captures that contrast: like an eclipse, darkness may briefly obscure the light, but it never lasts forever.
Sonically, the project dives even further into her club-driven world. BXKS delivers commanding performances over high-energy 140 BPM instrumentals inspired by a wide spectrum of global dance traditions, from grime and UK soundsystem culture to gqom, bouyon and dancehall.
