“scared” Featuring Young Thug marks Fred Again’s.. first drop of the year and arrives as the newest chapter in his continually shifting USB album project.
Last weekend saw Fred kick off the opening two nights of his USB002 residency at New York’s East End Studios, with Romy and HAAi joining him on Friday, followed by sets from Oppidan, Hamdi, and BRUX on Saturday.
The residency rolls on this weekend, with tonight’s bill featuring a three-way back-to-back from X3butterfly, Doctor Jeep, and Sister Zo, before Caribou and BRUX return to the space on tomorrow night’s programme.
Alongside the three-week takeover of East End Studios, Fred also hosted a one-off exhibition yesterday titled Boris Acket – Secret Life Exhibition. The showcase revolved around Boris Acket’s immersive installation, a centrepiece of the USB002 live experience, accompanied by a reimagined version of Secret Life — Fred’s ambient project created in collaboration with Brian Eno.
