R&B newcomer Allana Verde has released the accompanying video for her Notorious B.I.G. sampling track “Warning”.
It’s a sick spin on a classic track, with production legend DaVinChe spinning Biggie’s “Warning” behind the boards, into something unique. Allana said to The Fader about the track, “I was in the studio with DaVinChe and felt like I really wanted to be a hip-hop MC. We were talking and vibing and ‘Warning’ by Biggie ended up getting played.”
She continued, “It should be illegal to play it at anything less than maximum volume! We just kept the vibe going with it on loop and I decided I needed the essence, so we reimagined it from our perspective.”
