Ticketmaster has announced they will begin selling event tickets directly through Facebook at the end of the month.
The hope is that by offering this option, it will make buying tickets for your favourite artist’s gigs even simpler. With the tout company already advertising events on Facebook, this seems like the next logical step for the two companies to take.
It was only last week that Facebook challenged the app-of-the-moment Periscope, by offering a live streaming service, and it seems like they’ve taken another massive step to make your online experience not just about updating your status on the social media site.
Well done Mr Zuckerberg, you’ve found yet another intuitive way to take our money.
