Kendrick Lamar just dropped his ‘untitled unmastered’ project, and while the album came without credits, track 7 is reportedly produced by Egypt Daoud, son of legendary producer Swizz Beatz and R&B superstar Alicia Keys.
In the hours after the album dropped, Swizz took to Instagram, writing ‘Congrats to my son Egypt for producing his 1st track on this amazing Kendrick Album’, as well as, ‘This is the best Dad moment everrr!!!’
And just to rub salt in the wounds of all those producers who would chop off their foot for the opportunity, Swizz posted a video of the child protégé jamming out on a synth, writing ‘to all you old ass producers mad at a 5yr old on his grind early step ya game up and get a life’. Ouch!
It goes without saying that show and tell on Monday is going to pop off!
