The Most Played Song Of The Last Decade Has Been Revaled

The decade’s most-played songs have been announced, with tracks by Pharrell Williams and Adele among those holding the top spots.


PPL
and BBC Radio 2 have assembled a list of the top 10 songs of the 2010s based on playing figures from UK television and radio. 


Pharrell
Williams took the top spot for his track “Happy,” which was originally written for Despicable Me 2. In 2013, “Happy” spent four non-consecutive weeks at the top of the UK charts and went on to win a Grammy. Williams also appears in fourth position on the chart, featuring on Daft Punk’s hit “Get Lucky” alongside Nile Rodgers.


Adele’s huge hit “Rolling In The Deep” made the second spot and 
Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” was number three, featuring Christina Aguilera.
