Apple Music Launch ‘Blackout Radio’ Series To Celebrate Black History Month 2020

Apple Music have launched a brand-new series to celebrate Black History Month in the UK!

Titled Blackout Radio, the series is a weekly radio show which will air throughout the month of October and will highlight the cultural contributions made by Black British artists and producers. Each episode will see a special guest host and a variety of guests explore several themes such as the role of songwriters and producers, Black British women in the music industry and the rise of UK rap.

The debut episode, hosted by Remi Burgz, and explores the popularisation of African music and features Tiwa Savage, Afro B and Fuse ODG. Future episodes will be hosted by Juls, Ray BLK and Ms Banks.
