Anthony Joshua remains the world heavyweight champion following his victory in his fight against Kubrat Pulev.
AJ knocked Pulev out during the ninth round during the fight at Wembley’s SSE Arena.
Using a quick and cruel right hand hook, Joshua secured his win by knocking out his rival.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 1,000 fans were allowed into the arena but all reacted with a euphoric reaction when the boxer walked out to “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes.
In his post-win interview, AJ said, I hope everyone was satisfied tonight. For me, I stuck to what I know best, boxing. You ask the crowd what they want to see.”
He added, “Whoever has the belts I want to compete with. If that is Tyson Fury, let it be Tyson Fury.”
Fury confirmed that he wants to battle Anthony Joshua in the fight dubbed “the biggest fight in British boxing history” in a video posted to social media.
Fury said, “He got asked if he wants the fight and he went around the bushes. I want the fight. I want the fight next. I will knock him out inside three rounds!”
Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are said to have agreed to financial terms. Their highly anticipated fight was delayed earlier this year.
