The official video for Pop Smoke’s posthumous offering “AP” has arrived.
Produced by the UK’s 808Melo and New York’s Rico Beats, “AP” is another jumpy drop from the late rapper who flexes on the beat with his distinctive NY swagger.
The song is taken from the soundtrack for the new movie Boogie which is out in the States now, with the music video featuring clips from the film.
The movie depicts a coming of age story of high-school student Alfred “Boogie” Chin – played by Taylor Takahashi – who dreams of becoming a basketball star. However, Boogie faces a few challenges on his way to greatness, such as his on-court rival Monk, who’s played by Pop Smoke.
